Novel Blog - Writing The Great American Novel

Since I titled this post "My First Novel" it signifies that I expect to write a second one. I'll admit that it's a little early in the game to be thinking about that, but I'm optimistic. I get wrapped up in writing and re-writing too early in the game. I'm trying to focus more on forming the first draft of the story before I start the revision process.
