Where does Carl Hiaasen get his novel ideas?

Posted by Backyard Urban Gardening on Sunday, November 19, 2006

If you've ever wondered where the most popular American novelists get ideas for their novels, you might want to read Carl Hiaasen's collection of newspaper columns he wrote for the Miami Herald titled Paradise Screwed or his other collection of columns titled Kick Ass.

But perhaps most all, if you want to become one of America's most popular and award winning novelists, maybe you should just move to Florida and where art imitates life on a daily basis.
If you've never read a Hiaasen novel, pick one up, pour yourself a cup of coffee or other adult beverage, sit back and be prepared to laugh, laugh, and laugh some more.
