Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne Series

Posted by Backyard Urban Gardening on Saturday, September 15, 2007

I took several college preparatory English courses in high school. The instructor provided a reading list of books totaling 60 or so books and we had to choose six of them from the list each year for book reports.

Jack Higgins and Robert Ludlum were two of my favorite authors on the list. I read The Eagle Has Landed and Touch the Devil by Higgins and read Osterman Weekend and Matlock Paper by Ludlum.

Ludlum's Jason Bourne series of novels produced three hit movies: Bourne Identity (2002), Bourne Supremacy (2004), and Bourne Ultimatum (2007).

I just returned from viewing Bourne Ultimatum this afternoon and really enjoyed it. If you are looking for something to do on a rainy weekend afternoon, rent these movies and watch them in order. They're some of my favorite movies ever made and Jason Bourne is one of the best characters Robert Ludlum ever created.

If you want to read the books instead, Amazon.com has the Bourne Trilogy.
