I started reading The Hot Kid today, by Elmore Leonard. So far I like the author's straight forward style and direct approach to telling a story. It's my first Leonard book, but it definitely won't be the last. I can't believe it took me 40 years to discover this author.
The New York Times included a "writing tips" article by Leonard a July 2001 issue.
In 2005, Time magazine published "10 Questions for Elmore Leonard".
