According to Amazon.com Thin Blue Smoke will be available in February 2009. I look forward to purchasing one of the first copies. The author, Doug Worgul, is a managing editor at RiseUp, a national Sunday newspaper magazine insert focused on building bridges between races, ethnicities, and cultures.

Hey, Brother!
Thanks for the plug. It's an exciting time. Though sometimes February seems like it's a year away.
By the way, I've left The Star. I'm now managing editor at RiseUp, a national Sunday newspaper magazine insert focused on building bridges between races, ethnicities, and cultures.
Also, by the way, I can't seem to access your online novel. Is there a secret code and an abracadabra I need?

I am honored that you left a comment on my blog.
I closed my attempted novel in progress for a while, but opened it back up tonight. The link should work for you now.
I'm at a critical point in the story and struggling to keep it going. It's funny how when you're writing a new story it's exciting and fun in the beginning, but it becomes a chore for me at about the same point each time.
I need to learn to charge through that period of doubt and maybe I'd actually get one finished.
I'm in awe of those that can write a new book every year.
