Tonight I read Part 1 of a two part article by George Guthridge about using non-fiction tidbits to write fiction stories. This method has some pretty amazing credentials too and apparently has made prize winning authors out of those who were previously unpublished.
Mr. Guthridge mentions getting story ideas from the National Geographic magazine. I hadn't thought of that before, but based on the article I might need to subscribe.
