I missed the first season of Friday Night Lights, a television show about a high school football team set in fictionalized Dillon, TX, altogether and it looks like millions of other potential viewers did too.

One cold winter afternoon last year, I watched the catch up episodes back to back when they appeared on Bravo and realized that I was missing out on a great story. I've been a faithful follower ever since. But based upon its' ratings, Friday Night Lights once again proves that critical acclaim does not necessarily equal financial prosperity.
