Friday night I watched the interview with Stephen King on Nightline. If you missed it, here's a transcript.
King's novella The Mist, which he wrote in 1980, has been made into a movie and soon will be released in theatres everywhere. The movie is about a town that is overtaken by fog and how the townspeople to overcome it. Oscar winner, Marci Gay Harden is in the movie.

In the interview, King explains that he developed the premise for The Mist while standing in a supermarket, a short time after finishing The Stand. While standing in line, he imagined bugs hitting the window panes.
